Pirola Corporate Finance S.p.A., a strategic finance advisory firm specialised in providing financial advisory services in connection with corporate transactions and reorganization activities, is looking for undergraduates and recent graduates for internship in the Milan office.

The selected candidates, included in the Valuation & Financial Modelling team and supported by more experienced colleagues, will be in charge of drafting industrial/financial plans and quantitative valuations of companies, business units and intangible assets (eg. trademarks, customer lists, patents, know-how) performing, in detail, the following activities: 

• Analysis and reclassification of financial statements
• Calculation of the main balance sheet ratios
• Analysis of prospective economic and equity data
• Preparation of the cash flow statement
• Analysis of the target company's business model
• Analysis of the target's reference market
• Preliminary analyses useful for the application of the valuation methods commonly used for companies, company branches and intangible assets
• Identification of comparable companies with respect to those being valued
• Input extraction of the discount rate to be applied in the valuation analysis
• Calculation and analysis of market and transaction multiples.

Required:

• Master's degree in economics (preferably with a background in corporate finance) just completed with only the thesis to be discussed
• Excellent computer skills (Office package)
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• A high attitude to teamwork, excellent communication and interpersonal skills complete the profile.

The internship is aimed at a subsequent employment.
